God I miss you Derek. Stumbled across some old messages about my coming over to Dubai for a visit and couldn't stop the tears. Still can't believe you're gone. Love you xxx

For Derek's birthday, I have dedicated Michael Josephson's commentary on "What will Matter" (see Remembering section) because Derek lived a life that mattered.

Thinking of you today Derek and missing you lots. I have fond memories of us celebrating previous birthdays with a beer in The Barn.
