Derek's ashes were interred in the Marlborough Road Cemetery in Ilfracombe (UK) on 17th December 2010 after the memorial tablet (black marble with the inscription as shown on the right which can be enlarged by clicking on it) had been completed.

These photos were taken shortly after the funeral and again when his ashes were laid to rest at 10L23 in December.
